Tim Philbrick serves as the Community Engagement Manager for the Avow Foundation in Naples, Florida. In this role, he builds strategic partnerships with businesses and organizations, helping them align their philanthropic efforts with their core values. He also leads the coordination and execution of key fundraising events, including the Annual Butterfly Release and the West Coast Muscle Cars Show.
Since joining Avow four years ago, Tim has significantly expanded the organization’s reach, tripling participation in the Corporate Partner Program and creating new opportunities for 38 additional businesses to engage in event sponsorships and underwriting initiatives.
An advocate for the power of purpose-driven business, Tim recently delivered TED Talk-style presentations on the benefits of corporate philanthropy to both DisruptNaples and the N.A.P.L.E.S. Group, sparking dialogue and inspiring action within the local business community.
Tim has over 30 years of experience as a small business owner, along with sales and management roles at companies such as Canon USA, Xerox, and Accustaff. He brings a deep well of experience to his community work, serving on numerous boards and currently facilitating the Youth Leadership Collier program.
Outside of work, Tim is passionate about sports and community involvement. A dedicated basketball official for over 35 years, he is also known as the “Voice of the Celtics” at St. John Neumann, announcing football and basketball games and other school events. When not courtside or behind the mic, Tim enjoys fishing the local waters and soaking up the Florida sunshine.
Tim holds degrees from both the University of Michigan and Florida Gulf Coast University. He and his wife, Jamie, are proud parents of three children and grandparents to two grandchildren.
